About Jen:
"My training style has evolved significantly over the past 14 years that I have been certified. I always see clients from the point of view of a physical therapist. I evaluate, educate and instruct them in posture and muscle balance-both treating and preventing injuries through theraputic exercies. I see the potential in each individual to be at their best physically, and inspire personal fitness through highly individualized programming, ongoing training and monitoring, and offering myself as an example of health and balance. I treat each client, regardless of age or fitness level, as one who CAN achieve flexibility, stability, strength, endurance and agility.

Over the past several years, I have become acutely aware of the power of the mind and spirit and their interdependence with physical health and wellbeing. I now incorporate mindful breathing, gratitude, visualization, and stress relieving practices to help my clients achieve their fitness goals, and most importantly, to help them find peace within. I also give a killer workout!"

In the past 16 years that Jen has been certified in Personal training, she has appeared in local magazines such as Wellesley Weston Magazine, was the featured expert on WBZ Channel 5’s  "Weekend Workout" segment, and has presented publicly to many local business and social groups on fitness and wellness. Jen is available for public speaking and wellness consultation.

Fitness Philosophy:
When was the last time you felt exhilarated after a workout? Maybe because you haven’t tapped into your "challenge" zone, a zone which is unique to you.  Often we become complacent, don’t push ourselves enough, or don’t know how to push ourselves.  For those reasons, we do not reach the goals we have set for ourselves.  In order to make changes, we need to progress into the “challenge” zone.  It is easy to talk ourselves into believing we cannot do something.  I’m too old, I’m too overweight, I’m too out-of-shape, I’m not coordinated...but once you break through your mental glass ceiling, you will be amazed at what your body can accomplish.  Through my knowledge of physical therapy and personal training, I can help motivate and guide you safely into your "challenge" zone - where the results lie.

About Christine:
Graduating from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Dance Performance, Christine danced professionally for several years with the Richmond Ballet, Sacramento Ballet, Fort Wayne Ballet, and Feld Ballets/NY.   After she retired from professional dancing, Christine went on and received a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University.  Christine's experiences as a dancer and as a physical therapist enables her to create a unique approach to personal training, one which combines traditional physical therapy techniques (joint mobilization, postural training, muscle re-education, point-trigger releases, and therapeutic exercise) with modern innovative methods (Pilates mat, physio-ball, yoga, and functional training). Christine uses these techniques to treat overuse syndromes, spine disorders, sports injuries, performing arts-related injuries, and various upper and lower extremity orthopedic injuries. She loves working with people of all exercise levels and of all ages and is committed to helping each individual achieve their goals.   In Boston, she has danced with Margot Parsons, Kathy Hassinger, Rainbow Tribe, Triiiple Threat and also co-founded Element Dance Company.  She is currently a member of the Dance Revelasian Company.

Tae Kwon-Do Grandmaster Jae H. Kim-Boston
Certified Fitness Trainer AFAA -1983

About Thea
"My entire life I have worked in the fitness industry. As a child I danced until I was in college. At the age of 14 I was choreographing routines for the local women's aerobic club. I would observe the adults and be amazed how some would reach their goals and others would not. Some people would be full of life and others faded into the day. I have always had a fascination for how the mind and body work together! When I went to college I focused on the psychology of the Mind/Body connection. It has been an exciting journey which has brought me to Martial Arts and Eastern Philosophy. Life is about learning as much as you can from as many people as possible. I am excited to know we will learn from each other!"

Certified Personal Trainer - American Fitness and Aerobics Association - 1996
Certified Aerobics Instructor - American Fitness and Aerobics Association - 1994

About Ingrid
Ingrid lost over 60 pounds roughly 15 years ago.  This experience has given her the ability to understand the every day challenges that women face with health and weight loss.  She now has a 7 month old daughter that both she and her husband waited and worked so hard for.  Ingrid has successfully lost most of her pregnancy weight.  She taught one of our most popular aerobics classes, and has inspired many of the participants to join her for one-on-one personal training.  She hopes to teach the class again sometime soon.   Her energy and attitude are contagious and make for a great workout.
